In this presentation I‘ll give an overview on the following relevant procedures and formalities to resolve during the PhD process:

• Matriculation: How to enroll as a PhD student at the University of Bremen: Is it necessary and helpful? What do I have to do for it? Are there any fees to pay? Etc.
• Health insurance: What kind of contracts are there, offered by whom, how to decide
• The admission process: Acceptance as PhD candidate by the faculty, thesis submission & examination, obligations, regulations etc.
• Supporting institutions for PhD students at the University of Bremen

There will be time and space to discuss your individual questions! The presentation will be held in English, please tell other PhD students about this event.
