The declared aim of the University’s female professor program is to increase the quota of female professors. The program offers incentives such as ahead-of-schedule appointments, start-up support, research stays abroad and reductions in teaching loads.
Ahead-of-schedule appointments contribute towards accelerating generation change and orientation to new topics both within as well as between the disciplines. Between 2013 and 2017 the University intends to appoint a minimum of five professors and their staff within the frame of its Female Professor Program. Anyone interested in an ahead-of-schedule professorial appointment can apply to the Rectorate via their Faculties at all times. The Rectorate has already held several talks with the Faculties and the first calls will appear very soon.
