There are several ways you can set about concluding cooperation agreements with a partner university. First, it is important to distinguish between General University Agreements, which are subject to certain criteria, agreements between individual Faculties, and those with Institutes. One also has to differentiate between general declarations of intent (Memorandum of Understanding, Letter of Intent) and concrete formal agreements, as well as those specific to individual work programs. At the bottom of this page you will find a selection of different specimen agreements. These have been approved by the International Office and the University’s Legal Department and can therefore be used without further ado. Should you find it necessary to make amendments or even to draw up your own agreement, please have it checked through first by the International Office. In every case, we ask you to let us have a copy of the completed and signed agreement for our files.
