In order to cope with the globalization of markets and the galloping dynamics of technological, economic and social change, it is absolutely essential that higher education receives a significant push towards internalization and orientation to practice.
In this respect, international internships offer the perfect combination of both aspects. Students undertaking international internship benefit from the opportunity to put what they have learned during their studies into practice and to gather career experience and professional expertise ― on top of this they can improve their inter-personal and foreign language skills in an intercultural environment.
By undertaking an international internship you not only improve your career prospects; you also broaden your horizons and optimize your studies.
The Bremer Ausbildungspartnerschaft [University/Enterprise Training Partnership] at Bremen University provides assistance in finding the right internship abroad and offers advice on support via EU educational programs.
The ERASMUS program supports undergraduates undertaking international internships, and the LEONARDO DA VINCI program is for postgraduate students. These programs fund internships in the 27 member states of the European Union, as well as the affiliated countries of Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Turkey.
