Though the campus is habitat to many pigeons, none of them have yet been trained as carrier pigeons. Instead, there is an old-fashioned mailbox and a self-service parcel station (DHL Packstation) near the glasshall at the "Uni Zentralbereich".
Stamps can be bought from the tobacconist's inside the glasshall. There is also a so-called "postpoint" offering postal services located at the tobacconist's.

The bsu (short for bremen_service universität) offers official municipal services in the most customer-friendly way. It can help you with formalities like aliens´law and official registration. The bsu is located in the central part of the university: Klagenfurter Str. (beneath the daycare facility for children "Kita").

The glasshall besides being a landmark of the University of Bremen, serves as meeting point for students and offers about a dozen shops and service centers fpr everadays life. From cash machine to greeting card, from hairy reference books to hairdresser, everything is centrally located in the glasshall. more »
There are not only shops located in the glasshall, but also a number of insurance offices such as health insurers. Thus you can deal with some matters of insurance right on the campus. more »
There is a lost and found office on campus. Together with the cash office it is located in the administration building in room VWG 1160. You can go there to retrieve lost articles that may have been found by other people. Once every month the lost property is handed over to the Bremen lost and found office.
