Advice on Studies

The first address for information surrounding studies is the Student Advisory Service [Zentrale Studienberatung ZSB]. They will be able to assist you in all matters connected with submitting applications and seeking admittance, the content of degree programs and their requirements, as well as changing degree program/subject and place of studies.

More specific academic questions can be dealt with by the Study Centers [Studienzentren] or the Study Specialist Counseling [Studienfachberatung]: see Datenbank Studium/your program/Contact and Counseling. Questions on career guidance and starting work are best addressed to the Praxisbüros (Departmental Career-offices).

Studying with Child(ren)

We won’t leave you to cope with this challenge on your own. Already in the summer of 2007, the University of Bremen received the accolade and certification 'audit family-friendly university'. Child care, baby-changing facilities and on-campus playgrounds are among the many projects which have already been implemented. The Familien-Portal of the University of Bremen will help you find the right persons to contact. more »
