02-02-Öko2-Ex	Zoologische Exkursionen Zoological excursions Exkursion ECTS: 1,5 (2 x 2,5 Tage oder 1x 2,5 Tage + 5 x halbtägig, frei aus dem Angebot wählbar) Diese Exkursionen werden teilweise im Winterhalbjahr angeboten. Sie werden als Pflichtveranstaltung zu Öko2 verbucht, können aber beliebig im Verlauf des Studiums absolviert werden. Regelmäßig angebotene Exkursionen: In den 6 halbtägigen Exkursionen werden die wesentlichen Landschaftstypen des nordwestdeutschen Tieflandes (Feuchtwiesen, Hudewald, sandige Geest, Hochmoorreste, Teichlandschaft, Stadtpark) mit faunistischem Schwerpunkt besichtigt. Die Wochenendexkursionen führen in Landschaftsräume mit besonderen faunistischen und naturschutzrelevanten Bedingungen (Ostseeküste und Jungmoränenland in Fehmarn/Ostholstein, Wattenmeer in Westerhever, Gänsezug am Ijsselmeer, Kranichzug an der Boddenküste, Flußauen und Biber bei Dessau, Trappen und Flußlandschaft an Havel und Elbe). 02-02-GS-27	Die Weservertiefung: Ursachen, Folgen und kritische Perspektiven Weser river bed deepening: causes, effects and critical perspectives Vorlesung ECTS: 3 Dates: wöchentlich Do 10:00 - 12:00 SFG 2200 (2 Credit hours) Im Jahr 2013 wird vor dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht die Zulässigkeit einer erneuten Vertiefung der Unter- und Außenweser verhandelt. Wie in früheren Projekten zur Vertiefung der Weser (und der benachbarten Elbe) ist der vermutete wirtschaftliche Nutzen der technischen Maßnahmen ein zentrales Argument in der Auseinandersetzung. Dem werden heute vor allem ökologische Folgen entgegen gehalten. Im Seminar sollen zunächst die zugehörigen Positionen und Argumente gemeinsam ermittelt und analysiert werden. In die Ausarbeitung wird eine zweite Ebene eingezogen, indem wir uns nicht nur mit der aktuellen Weservertiefung befassen, sondern auch mit ihren historischen Vorläufern und deren Kritik. Besonderes Interesse gilt dabei einem früheren 'Weserprojekt', das vor mehr als dreißig Jahren in einem mehrsemestrigen Studienprojekt an der Universität Bremen durchgeführt wurde. In der Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Projekt soll (auch) die weiter gehende Frage geprüft werden, wie sich die Inhalte und Bezugspunkte einer Kritik staatlich-planerischer Tätigkeit im Allgemeinen verändert haben. Welche Kritik wurde vor mehr als dreißig Jahren an der Weservertiefung geübt? Was ist davon heute noch oder wieder 'brauchbar', welche Argumente haben sich geändert? 	Interkulturelle Kompetenz Seminar Zertifikat für Interkulturelle Kompetenz Interkulturelle Kompetenz ist eine der wichtigsten Schlüsselqualifikationen, um sich in internationalen Zusammenhängen sicher bewegen zu können. Am International Office der Universität Bremen können Sie ein Zertifikat für Interkulturelle Kompetenz erwerben, welches aus einem Pflichtmodul (Interkulturelles Training) und mehreren Wahlpflichtmodulen besteht. Die Module können dabei in beliebig vielen Semestern innerhalb der Studienzeit abgeschlossen werden. Studierende des Fachbereichs 02 können das Angebot extra-curricular wahrnehmen, sich aber auch Teile davon im Bereich der General Studies anerkennen lassen (bspw. das Interkulturelle Training oder einzelne Sprachkurse).
