Semester dates

The academic year starts at October 1st and ends on September 30th.

The winter semester (WiSe) starts at October 1st and ends on March 31st.
The summer semester (SoSe) starts at April 1st and ends on September 30th.

Lecture times vary within the semester blocks from year to year.
The President’s Office of the University of Bremen has fixed the following periods for lecture classes:
