Deletion from the student register

In the event that you wish to terminate your studies at the University of Bremen, one of the following possibilities will apply:

Due to private reasons:
Let us know in writing at which point in time you wish to terminate your student status and be deleted from the student register (cannot be backdated). You will then receive from us a confirmation of deletion from the student register and a certificate recording the time you studied at the University of Bremen.

Due to having passed your final examinations:
We will automatically receive notification from the respective examinations office or StaPA that you have successfully completed your final examination(s). You will subsequently be deleted from the student register at the end of the semester in which you sat for the examination (31.03./30.09.),
and you will be sent a an accordant certificate together with a certificate recording the time you studied at the University of Bremen. Should you urgently require the certificate of deletion from the student register, you must submit a corresponding application.

Being struck off the student register due to failure to re-register:
You miss the deadline for re-registration (15.02./15.08.). You receive a reminder and fail to act on it. You will be struck off the student register and sent an accordant certificate for the old-age pension scheme.
