Förderung der EU

Das EU-Forschungsrahmenprogramm (FRP) ist das weltweit größte Förderprogramm für Forschungsprojekte. Mit dem Ziel, die wissenschaftlichen und technologischen Grundlagen der in der Gemeinschaft angesiedelten Industrie zu stärken und die Entwicklung ihrer internationalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu fördern sowie einen Europäischen Forschungsraum zu schaffen, werden internationale und interdisziplinäre Projekte gefördert. Das aktuelle Forschungsrahmenprogramm (7. FRP) läuft von 2007 bis 2013 mit einem Fördervolumen von 54,4 Milliarden Euro. Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der Universität Bremen beteiligten sich im 7. FRP aktuell an 33 Projekten. Davon werden acht Projekte von der Universität Bremen koordiniert (Stand: 15.07.2010).
