&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;As part of the globale° Literature Festival, Jody Danard moderated a reading with the Francophone Canadian author Éric Chacour, whose debut novel &amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Ce que je sais de toi&amp;lt;/i&amp;gt; (2023) (&amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Was ich von dir weiß&amp;lt;/i&amp;gt; in German) received wide critical and public acclaim in France and Quebec.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;
&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;In the discussion, Chacour offered insights into the genesis of his novel, set in 1980s Egypt, which tells the hidden love story of a doctor caught between family expectations, social constraints, and his own truth. Themes such as identity, migration, silence, and belonging shaped the exchange.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>
