Dr. Colin Weßendorf
Zur Person
Colin Wessendorf schloss seine Promotion im Jahr 2025 erfolgreich ab. Seine Forschungsarbeit befasste sich mit Fragen zu den regionalen wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen sogenannter Schlüsseltechnologien (Key Enabling Technologies). Darüber hinaus war Colin Weßendorf von März 2018 bis Februar 2023 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Univsersität Bremen tätig: Zunächst am Centre for Regional and Innovation Economics (CRIE) und nach dessen Auflösung im Jahr 2021 in der AG "Evolutionary Economics".
Vor seiner Tätigkeit an der Universität Bremen studierte Colin Weßendorf Geographie (B.Sc., M.A.) sowie Friedens-, Konflikt- und Entwicklungsforschung (Nebenfach) in Marburg, Frankfurt/Main, Lund und Växjö. Sein Schwerpunkt liegt im Bereich Wirtschaftsgeographie.
