The upper \(L^q\) spectrum of a multifractal is a function that encodes a lot of information pertinent to fractal geometry, relating the scaling of measure to the scaling of distance. I show, utilizing an easily generalizable framework, that by reversing these two in an appropriate way, a function can be defined which is the inverse of the upper \(L^q\) spectrum, to the extent that it can be inverted in the first place. I also investigate the extent of the open domain where it is invertible, as well as its asymptotic slopes.
