We define the notion of asymptotically commuting measures on a countable discrete group, and under minimal assumptions on their support, we prove that there is an inclusion relation between the related bounded harmonic functions spaces. Moreover, we show that the notion of commuting measures is the unifying idea behind some seemingly unrelated theorems.
