Wilhelm Wagenfeld House

The Alumni Association of the University of Bremen visited the Wilhelm Wagenfeld House. Director Dr. Julia Bulk guided around 20 participants through the current exhibition “Focke Meets Wagenfeld” with great expertise.
The evening impressed not only through its content but also visually: pink, magenta, and red merged into a powerful stage for design, innovation, and heritage. At the heart of the exhibition was everyday design — the kind of design that shapes our daily lives, often unnoticed, yet with lasting impact.
Understanding where we come from also means understanding how design influences our culture, habits, and perspective on the world. An inspiring exchange unfolded in a place that, like few others, stands for design, attitude, and zeitgeist in Bremen.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Julia Bulk for the impressive tour and to the team of the Wilhelm Wagenfeld House for their warm hospitality. Special thanks also go to Dr. Katerina Vatsella, board member of the Alumni Association and Chair of the Friends of the Wilhelm Wagenfeld House.
