Applied and Structural Mechanics
The department "Applied and Structural Mechanics" (FG15) in the Faculty 4 "Production Engineering" of the University of Bremen is part of the Bremen Institute for Mechanical Engineering (bime).
In the field of research, we deal with surface structures, fracture mechanics, material mechanics and damage mechanics.
And in teaching we give lectures on Applied Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Structural Mechanics in Lightweight Construction and Finite Element Methods.
