November 22, 2023: Doctorate completed: Congratulations to Pia Römer for the successful completion of her doctorate. (Universität Bremen)

September 3 - 6, 2023: Dr. Ulrike Frischen and Dr. Annika Wienke are the moderators of Symposium A3 EPSY conference in Berlin.

July 17, 2023: Doctorate completed: Congratulations to Gizem Samdan for the successful completion of her doctorate (University of Heidelberg).

June 19 - 20, 2023: The 2nd BRISE Conference takes place in Berlin, Germany. Keynote-Speakers were Dr. Pauline Slot, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands (Continous professional development as pathway towards sustainable quality in early childhood education) and Dr. Kathrin Hirsh-Pasek, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA (Re-imagining education: Delivering high quality education through playful learning).

March 9, 2023: The ZEIT online magazine no. 11 publishes the article "Mit dem ersten Schrei" (At the first cry) by Martin Spiewak, reporting about brain research in the BRISE project. https://www.zeit.de/2023/11/brise-bremen-fruehkindliche-entwicklung (in German).

March 6 + 7, 2023: Caroline Birau presents the BRISE project at the congress "Armut und Gesundheit" (Poverty and Health).

December 15, 2022: Doctorate completed: Congratulations to Natalie Kiel for the successful completion of her doctorate(University of Bremen).

November 30, 2022: Shaping transitions - retaining families: At the end of 2022, the Bremen Senatorial Authority for Social Affairs, Youth, Integration and Sports organized two expert days to discuss with funding programs, authorities and academia the goals and implementation of the BRISE funding chain.

October 13, 2022: At the DGPs symposium "Not just Mom's eyes: early childhood development and mothers' significant roles", the Heidelberg, Bamberg and Bremen subprojects presented empirical work from BRISE. We also presented results at the FLUX conference on brain development.

July 7, 2022: Doctorate completed: Congratulations to Polina Stoyanova for the successful completion of her doctorate (University of Bremen).

May 18, 2022: The "Familiennetz" Bremen - whose team offers suitable solutions to many questions of everyday family life - presents BRISE in a 7-part series from the perspective of the participating families, the city, the support programs and the scientific monitoring.

March 24, 2022: Under the topic „How we become who we are“ did Gizem Samdan and Julia Ruge discuss our research in BRISE about infants, toddlers and their parents with a broad audience.

March 9, 2022: Together with our partners from Kiel, Heidelberg, and Berlin, Dr. Annika Wienke and Natalie Kiel represented BRISE at the symposium "Family Background and Early Childhood Development" at the conference of the Society for Empirical Educational Research.
