Living Lab

Living Lab for Biodiversity on the campus of the University of Bremen

We are committed to developing and maintaining a living biodiversity laboratory on the campus of the University of Bremen. Based on a student initiative, we have started to develop biodiversity management strategies aimed at increasing general and especially insect diversity in urban landscapes.

We conduct collaborative and interdisciplinary research and teaching to engage the public in understanding, accepting and actively participating in promoting biodiverse and thus healthy ecosystems.
