Vanessa Behrmann, M.Sc.

Personal Details

Vanessa Behrmann graduated at Johann Beckmann-Gymnasium Hoya in 2014. Thereafter, she started her studies in business administration at the University of Bremen. In 2015, Ms. Behrmann completed an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG in Oldenburg. This was followed by several internships in financial accounting at Rohr- und Tiefbau Hoya GmbH in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2017 and continued her studies in business administration for the master’s degree at the University of Bremen. From 2017 to 2020, Vanessa Behrmann worked as a student assistant at the Chair for General Business Administration, Accounting and Controlling. In 2018, she attended a language course for Business English in London. Ms. Behrmann also completed an internship in investment controlling at Daimler AG in Bremen in 2019. In spring 2020, she finished her master's degree and received the master of science degree.

During her studies, Ms. Behrmann had the opportunity to gain teaching experience as a tutor for the preliminary course in "Accounting" and as a lecturer in "Accounting Exercise".

Since April 2020, Ms. Behrmann has been a research assistant at the Chair of General Business Administration, Corporate Accounting and Controlling at the University of Bremen and is a doctorate candidate with a research focus on regulation of accounting, reporting frequency and empirical accounting research.

Seit April 2020 ist Frau Behrmann wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Unternehmensrechnung und Controlling an der Universität Bremen und promoviert im Bereich ihrer Forschungsschwerpunkte Regulierung der Rechnungslegung, Berichterstattungsfrequenz und empirische Rechnungslegungsforschung.
