Impact Pioneers in Residence

How and what can academia and society learn from one another? How do new ideas emerge when people from different professional backgrounds collaborate on research into societal challenges? What new insights can external experts and academics provide for one another?
Through the Impact Pioneers in Residence programme, the University of Bremen invites committed individuals from civil society, business, culture, the media and public administration to join a research working group for three to six months.
The Impact Pioneers contribute their experience, perspectives and networks to the research. Together with researchers from the University of Bremen, they develop new research questions, test innovative formats for knowledge transfer and work on their own specific projects of societal relevance.
