WHAT’S THIS SESSION ABOUT?
This Data Snack introduces the NHR Network for Digital Humanities, with a focus on the extensive services offered by the NHR center in Göttingen. Participants will gain an overview of the National High-Performance Computing (NHR) program in Germany and learn how to access advanced computing resources, expert support, and tailored services for their research.
The session covers key offers from NHR-Nord@Göttingen, including access to HPC systems, domain-specific consulting, training, and cutting-edge AI infrastructure through the KISSKI AI Service Center. Whether you're a researcher, academic, or student, this Data Snack will equip you with the tools and knowledge to fully leverage national HPC infrastructure for your projects.
WHERE AND WHEN?
The session will take place from 1:00 to 1:30pm via Zoom. There will be a 15-20 minute presentation followed by an open forum for questions and discussion. The slides will be shared afterwards. We look forward to exciting discussions!

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Anja Gerbes is currently working as a Community Manager at the University of Göttingen, where she engages with academic and research communities. Alongside her professional role, she is pursuing a PhD in Compiler Optimization, focusing on advancing the performance and efficiency of compilers, the crucial software that translates programming languages into machine code.
