The University of Bremen will award approx. 103 scholarships for the winter semester 19/20 as part of the Germany scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is 300,- € per month.
The tendering and application procedure for the winter semester 2020/2021 will take place between 1 July 2020 and 31 July 2020. Please follow the instructions in the application agreement.
The Deutschlandstipendium is intended to support committed and qualified students who "have a great potential due to their previous commitment and career, taking into account social, family and personal circumstances, and who have already shown or have already provided outstanding achievements in their studies or professional life", Scholarship Regulations [PDF ] (40 KB) of the University of Bremen.
To apply for a Deutschlandstipendium:
Students of the University of Bremen, who are enrolled as regular students and who are studying in the regular study period have an admission / enrollment confirmation for the admission of a Bachelor's, Master's degree or juridical state examination. (Study applicants may submit the admission or enrollment confirmation by 31 August 2020.)
The scholarship is independent of BAföG or the income situation. Only students, who already receive a financial support for a talent or a performance dependent by a public or publicly supported institution in Germany or abroad in the amount of more than 30 Euro per month, are excluded from funding by the German fellowship.
In addition to the monthly scholarship of 300 euros, the scholarship holders expect an attractive accompanying program. An active cooperation in the scholarship groups and interest in the exchange with the scholarship holders are expected.
