Contact for printer problems outside the warranty period
Since the question "Who will repair my printer" has been raised at the university time and again, we have tried to find an appropriate service provider to cover this area of printer repair after the warranty period.
Printer problems from the administrative areas must always be handled via Dec.5 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The company "PAC", known as a supplier of printer consumables, has set up a printer service that can also serve the University of Bremen in this area. The service mainly refers to printer products of the manufacturer "Hewlett-Packard". After consultation with PAC, however, products from other printer manufacturers can also be repaired. If you want or need this support, you will find an appropriate form here, with which the support of the company PAC can be requested.
Simply print out the form, fill it in and fax it to PAC.
Before placing a repair order with PAC, it should be clarified in the respective area whether any warranty claims still exist against the supplier of the defective device.
The billing of the resulting costs is handled directly by the support requestor and PAC.
