Matheus Eduardo Leusin presented research results at the workshop "Artificial Intelligence" in Bremen

On September 27, 2019, Matheus Eduardo Leusin presented the research results of the paper "Patenting Patterns in Artificial Intelligence: Identifying National and International Greenhouses." The paper, co-authored with Jutta Günther, Björn Jindra and Martin G. Möhrle, examines the concepts of "National and International AI Greenhouses" to analyze different country patterns in the research and development of artificial intelligence.

The presentation took place during the international workshop "Artificial Intelligence - Between Panacea and Skynet" that took place in Bremen from September 26 to 28, 2019. The workshop was organized by the Center for Regional and Innovation Economics (CRIE) under the direction of Dirk Fornahl of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics at the University of Bremen. During the workshop, scientists discussed the development and drivers of artificial intelligence, its economic impact, and the potential of the application of AI techniques in innovation economics.
