Human Robot Interaction Conference 2026

Nima Zargham and Siyao (Izzie) Zhang went to Edinburgh, Scotland, UK for the HRI 2026 Conference. Nima organized a workshop there with Benjamin Cowan, Minha Lee, Donald Mc Millan, Matthew Aylett and (from our group) Rachel Ringe and Mihai Hawkin with the Topic "Empowering Human-Robot Communication Through Non-linguistic Pathways" which was super fun and a great experience.

Izzie was part of the full paper presentation for the paper "Synchronizing Biosignals for the User Embodiment in Robots" where she did a big study and answered a lot of interesting questions after the presentation. This Paper was a result of a cooperation between the Ben-Gurion University and the University of Bremen.

They also had the opportunity to promote the CUI2026 conference, which will be held here in Bremen, in May 2026 and tried out various intersting demos from other researchers.

The conference experience was made even better by the wonderful surroundings in Edinburgh.
