Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity

For the automated determination of saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks), we employ the METER KSAT. This instrument allows us to measure flow properties across a wide range of soil types, from clay to sand.

  • Methodology: Uses both falling head and constant head techniques seamlessly
  • Precision: High accuracy for both very low and very high conductivity ranges
  • Integration: Complements the HyProp measurements to provide a complete hydraulic characterization of soil cores (from saturation to dryness)
