Many affected researchers have an impairment that is not immediately visible.  Although some affected researchers would benefit from support from the university, they often choose not to talk about the impact of their physical or mental health condition or disability. Fear of negative reactions or career disadvantages often holds them back.<br /> How can researchers in this situation find ways to cope? What kind of support do they need on their way to professorship? Could, for example, the concept of academic age in appointment procedures be a helpful tool in this context?<br /> In this interactive session we will explore possible solutions and perspectives.
