Doctorate

In physics and electrical engineering, the doctorate represents a possible first phase of independent scientific professional activity. Mainly it takes place within the framework of project-related research. In physics, about one third of the graduates of a year do a doctorate, in electrical engineering it is about 15%.

If you would like to do a doctorate in physics or electrical engineering after successfully completing your master's degree at the University of Bremen, the institutes and their staff will support you in finding a research topic and will also be happy to assist you beyond that.
