Wavetrain Patterns in Models of Micromagnets with Spin Transport

The purpose of this project is to determine the existence and possibly stability of periodic wave trains in models of micromagnetic materials with spin. The starting point is the use of certain symmetries in this model, which have already been applied to a variant of this model in previous studies [Melcher, Rademacher 2017].

Basic knowledge of calculus and linear algebra is recommended. The duration of the work within the research group should be at least four weeks. In addition, a written paper and a final presentation in the seminar are expected.
