In the summer semester of 2026, <strong>student representatives</strong> on the Academic Senate and on Faculty Councils 1 to 12 will be re-elected for the coming term of office. The term of office for students is one year. Representatives of the other status groups will remain in office until the summer semester of 2027.</p> <p>Further information on this year's elections as well as the forms for nominations will be available here soon.<br /> </p> <h5><strong>Voter ID card</strong></h5> <p>To cast their vote, eligible voters require a <strong>voter ID card</strong>: students may only vote using their <a class="external-link" href="https://www.uni-bremen.de/en/studies/starting-your-studies/formalitaeten/university-of-bremen-campus-app" target="_blank"><strong>student ID card</strong></a>. From the 2026 summer semester onwards, the University of Bremen will introduce the <strong>Campus App</strong>, through which the digital student ID card will be available both online and offline.
