Björn Jindra appointed as Professor with Special Responsibilities at CBS

From a group of international applicants, Björn Jindra was selected as candidate for a Professorship with Special Responsibilities in International Business at the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). On 15th August 2019, he was appointed in this tenured position, which is going to allow him focusing on novel research in the area of International Business and Artificial Intelligence as well as developing new research-based teaching.

In 2013, Björn Jindra was affiliated with the Copenhagen Business School as part time Associate Professor in International Business. Since 2016, he has been working full time in this position. Björn Jindra received his PhD in Science and Technology Policy at the University of Sussex (United Kingdom). From 2005 to 2014, he worked in different positions at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle (Germany), where he also coordinated a research group. In 2014, he joined with Jutta Günther, Iciar Dominguez Lacasa, and Philip Marek the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics at the University of Bremen where he completed his Habilitation in Economics in 2016. Since 2016 Björn Jindra he has been working as part time leading researcher in the working group “Innovation and Structural Economics”.
