Dr. Kehinde Stephen Medase - new research associate

Since October 01, 2021 Kehinde Medase strengthens our team in empirical innovation research. His collaboration will be publication-oriented and mainly dedicated to productivity and regional analyses in the research network "Mod-Block-DDR" as well as open data projects.
Kehinde Medase studied economics at the University of Ghana (Bachelor) and the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Master). Subsequently, he completed his PhD at the Chair of Economic Policy at Friedrich Schiller University Jena on the topic of "Dynamic capabilities and innovation optimisation: A firm-level empirical analysis". In Jena, he gained extensive experience in quantitative economic research, big data, data management, teaching, as well as supervising student theses. From 2020-2021, he completed a residency as a junior researcher at the University of Ottawa in Canada (Queen Elisabeth Scholar Program).
