Successful consortium meeting of the hyBit project at the University of Bremen

From September 2 to 4, the annual consortium meeting of the hyBit project took place at the University of Bremen.

Susanna Bolz and Philip Kerner presented an overview of their project results in a poster session. The results cover innovation-economic prerequisites and technological interdependencies, political—especially funding policy—framework conditions, as well as technological uncertainties and narratives in the context of a hydrogen economy. In addition, various content-related workshops took place. Among other things, there were exciting insights into the current state of research on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and the challenges for implementing CCS projects in Germany.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the organizing team and all participants for the interesting, constructive, and fruitful exchange.
