ICSID Workshop in Bremen with high international participation

On 25 and 26 October 2019, the international ICSID Workshop took place in Bremen. The International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID) of the National Research University - Higher School of Economics Moscow (HSE), headed by Andrei Yakovlev, is an international center dedicated to the study of institutional change and international economic development.

This year's workshop was entitled "Quality of Governance and the Legacy of Socialism" and brought together participants from Russia, China, the USA and Europe to present papers on the long-term effects of institutions, especially with regard to former socialist countries.

The workshop is held annually by ICSID at various locations. The hosts in Bremen were Michael Rochlitz and Jutta Günther from the University of Bremen, Faculty of Economics and Mod-Block-DDR Association in cooperation with the Research Centre Eastern Europe.
