Katharina Friz presented at a conference at the RWTH Aachen

On 29 March, 2019 Katharina presented first results of the BMBF funded research project “NEO Indikatorik” at the two-days conference “Knowledge Transfer and Knowledge Production in Networks and their Investigation through Network Analysis” at the RWTH Aachen.

The aim of the research project is to generate new indicators for the measurement of innovation and apply them exemplarily to the electric-drive technology. In order to do this, the project considers the changes in the technology field over time (population dynamic) as well as the time-variable network structures of the actors in this field of technology (network dynamics). The project is carried out in cooperation with the Stifterverband (Essen), the FOM Hochschule Essen, and the Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung (ZSW) Stuttgart.

Katharina Friz presented the project findings together with her colleague Patrick Wolf (ZSW). Katharina Friz is an internal, and Patrick Wolf an external PhD candidate in the working group at the University of Bremen.

The interdisciplinary conference "Knowledge Transfer and Knowledge Production in Networks and their Investigation through Network Analysis" took place on the 28th and 29th of March 2019 at the RWTH Aachen and was organized by the DGNet (German Association for Network Research). The aim of the event was to allow researchers an interdisciplinary exchange and discussion on the subject of networks.
