Katharina Friz and Patrick Wolf presented at the Statistical Week

On September 16, 2021, Katharina Friz and Patrick Wolf presented the results from the BMBF-funded project "NEO-Indikatorik" at the Statistical Week at Kiel University.

Over the past three years, the research project "Neo-Indikatorik" (Network and Output Measurement - Indicators for Transformative Technology Transfer) has been working on ways to expand existing R&D statistics, for example, to include indicators to represent the structure, dynamics and strategic positioning of companies within changing research networks. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Stifterverband (Wissenschaftsstatistik GmbH), the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) as well as the FOM University of Economics & Management and has produced a number of publications and conference papers, including:

The Statistical Week took place this year online from 14 to 17 September 2021 at Kiel University and was hosted by the German Statistical Society together with the Association of German Urban Statisticians and the German Demographic Society. The conference aims at bringing together participants from all areas of statistics and to facilitate interdisciplinary exchange and discussion on the topic of statistics.
