Matheus Eduardo Leusin presented research results at the workshop on "Artificial Intelligence" in Bremen

On September 27th, 2019, Matheus Eduardo Leusin presented the research results of the paper entitled “Patenting Patterns in Artificial Intelligence: Identifying National and International Greenhouses”. The paper, co-authored by Björn Jindra, Jutta Günther and Martin G. Möhrle, introduces the concepts of National and International AI Greenhouses for analyzing distinct patterns of countries regarding the exploration and development of Artificial Intelligence.

The presentation was given during the international Workshop "Artificial Intelligence - Between Panacea and Skynet", which took place in Bremen between the 26th and 28th of September 2019. The workshop was organized by the Centre for Regional and Innovation Economics (CRIE), led by Dirk Fornahl and as a part of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics at the University of Bremen. During the workshop, scientists discussed the development and drivers of Artificial Intelligence, the economic implications and the potential of the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques in innovation economics.
