Muhamed Kudic Co-Organizer of a Special Session at the GEOINNO 2020

Muhamed Kudic (together with Milad Abbasiharofteh Aitziber Elola, Teis Hansen, Frans Hermans, Suyash Jolly, and Daniel Schiller) submitted a proposal for a special session on “What role does the bioeconomy play in the transformation of regions towards sustainable development? for the 5th Geography of Innovation Conference which has been accepted by the organizing committee. The session relates to current research carried out by Muhamed Kudic and his colleagues in the context of the transition towards bioeconomy. 

The GEOINNO conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for leading scholars from a variety of disciplines ranging from economic geography and regional science, economics and management science, sociology and network theory, as well as political and planning sciences. The conference addresses contemporary societal issues and provides scientific expertise and policy recommendations concerning the spatial dimension of innovation activities.

The University of Stavanger is hosting the GEOINNO 2020, taking place in Norway from 29th to 31st January, 2020.
