From June 24-25, 2021, the annual meeting of the Evolutionary Economics Committee at the Verein für Socialpolitik (VfS) took place as an online conference. Ann Hipp participated on invitation in the meeting and presented her research findings on the evolution of innovation activities over the industrial life cycle.

The VfS is one of the largest scientific associations of economists in the German-speaking world. The committee has been meeting in the field of evolutionary economics since 1991 and is one of the largest regular committees in the VfS with more than 80 members.
