Among other things, it is exhibited the <a class="externalLink" href="https://sic-mobil.de/" target="_blank" title="SicMobil">SiC-Mobil research project</a>, in which a charging system for electric vehicles is being developed that is highly optimized in terms of size and efficiency. Furthermore, the power density and efficiency of converters should be increased by using silicon carbide (SiC) in order to improve the efficiency in electric vehicles. In order to ensure later operation under realistic environmental and load conditions already during the development phase, stress tests are carried out in advance in the HiPE-LAB.
