European Studies at the University of Bremen are based on the three pillars of political science, cultural history and languages. For Europe is politics, culture, history and multilingualism. With IES, you can choose between the main focuses of European Political Science Studies and European Cultural Studies. You can learn one of four languages: French, Spanish, Russian or Polish.

Preise für IES-Studentinnen

Im Essaywettbewerb "Beyond new wave of mythologization of WWII" waren zwei IES-Studentinnen erfolgreich.

Wir gratulieren den IES-Studentinnen Clara Friedrichsen und Stephanie Schulz, die mit ihren Beiträgen beim Essaywettbewerb des Center for Independent Social Research (CISR) erfolgreich waren. 

Clara Friedrichsen ist eine von vier PreisträgerInnen in der Kategorie "Academic Essay". Sie schrieb den Beitrag "Forgotten Jedwabne. Forgetting and Remembering in Polish Collective Memory: The Jedwabne Massacre as a Case Study".

Stephanie Schulz gewann als eine von fünf PreisträgerInnen in der Kategorie "Public History". Ihr Beitrag trägt den Titel "Forgotten Jedwabne. Forgetting and Remembering in Polish Collective Memory: The Jedwabne Massacre as a Case Study".
