Prevention and health promotion are central components of sustainable health policy. However, these terms encompass heterogeneous approaches. Within our department, we are engaged in researching and developing effective measures for disease prevention and health promotion, including the examination of both individual factors influencing health and health behavior, as well as environmental factors such as healthcare structures or resources within the immediate geographical context. Additionally, we consistently adopt a lifespan perspective on these issues and are concerned with social inequalities.
