Description
The Quit4TB trial is part of RESPIRE(UK). Funded by the UK National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), RESPIRE is a Global Health Research Unit focusing on respiratory health in Asia. As senior visiting researcher at the Department of Health Sciences, University of York, Melanie Boeckmann is supporting the process evaluation of the Quit4TB trial. This project aims to assess the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of mTB-Tobacco (a previously developed a mobile Health programme) in Bangladesh and Pakistan – two countries with a high disease burden of TB and tobacco.
