Inequalities in exposure to environmental health risks exist in all countries across the WHO European Region and contribute to health inequity. Continuous monitoring is essential to assess the extent of social inequalities in environmental exposures and whether all population subgroups benefit from improvement of environmental conditions. This session will present ongoing research work on environmental inequalities from a health perspective and discuss national action to mitigate environmental health inequalities.
