As part of the so-called "third mission" of science, transfer has taken on an increasingly important role in universities and research institutions in recent years. In this issue of IPPinfo, we focus on the role and characteristics of transfer in public health and nursing science research, with a specific look at transfer at the Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP). In addition, we report on research, teaching and transfer, as well as on the people at the IPP.
