Dr. Giovanni Marin, Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Urbino, Italy, was invited by Michael Rochlitz to give a talk at the regular Economic Colloquium at the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics on December 10, 2019. The Colloquium is organized by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy (IERP) that unites several working groups of the Innovation Economics department. Dr. Marin, who specializes in environmental economics, presented his new research on the effect of green government spending on employment transitions in a low carbon economy.

Giovanni Marin and Michael Rochlitz both received their PhD from the Institute for Advanced Studies, IMT Lucca, where they studied together in 2009-2012.
