The podcast episode, “30 Post-Soviet years: Economic policy and regime stability in Belarus and Russia”, was moderated by Dr. Julia Langbein (ZOiS).

Fabian and Michael discussed how Belarus and Russia took divergent paths in terms of market transition after the collapse of the Soviet Union, why the problem of secure property rights is still very much present in the two countries, and how the focus of both regimes on stability and status quo affects economic performance.
