Together with Prof. Dr. Lars Viellechner, ICON-S Germany invites legal scholars as well as scholars from other disciplines to participate in its fourth conference at the University of Bremen on 17 – 18 September 2026. Postdocs, Ph.D. students, as well as established scholars, working in German or English, are equally welcome to contribute. The conference includes plenary panels and parallel panel sessions devoted to the topic “Time – Space – Emotion. Evolving Public Law”. It also offers a works in progress workshop for early career researchers that provides detailed feedback on paper or chapter drafts.

The keynote address will be held by Prof. Dr. András Jakab, Judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
