The German Law Journal has published a Special Issue featuring the proceedings of the international conference on Informed Consent to Dispute Resolution Agreements, held in Bremen on 20–21 June 2024.

On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Faculty Careers Day will take place for the second time at the Faculty of Law. Eleven exhibitors will provide you with the opportunity to get in touch with employers from the region.

On 23 October 2025, the teams of the University of Bremen visited labour law expert Ulrike Brinkmann at GÖHMANN lawyers at the Bremen Cotton Exchange in preparation for the moot court at the Federal Labour Court in January 2026.

Frederick Rieländer presented his lecture „Towards a Coherent Choice-of-Law Framework for Property Disputes over Digital Assets" at the conference.

The President of the Federal Social Court, Dr. Christine Fuchsloch, presented her vision of the future of the welfare state and opened it up for discussion in Bremen.

From 7 to 13 September 2025 the 2nd International Summer School of the Sustainable Welfare and Eco-Social Policy Network (ECOWELFARE) „Social Policy and Ecological Sustainability“ took place at the University of Bremen. 

The students Claudius Maximilian Dirks and Arap Ali Yilmaz of the University of Bremen have won the 14th Justus Liebig Moot Court, which was held as a nationwide student competition at the University of Giessen on 23 and 24 July 2025.

On 11 September, the FEU team went on a bicycle tour to the Wümme lowlands, visiting Gerd Winter.

On the occassion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Kazakhstan constitution by referendum on 30 August 1995, Prof. Rolf Knieper was awarded a medal of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
