Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker new Honorary Professor at HSB
Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker has been appointed as Honorary Professor for IT Security Law at the Bremen City University of Applied Sciences from 1 October 2021. His lecturing at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics and the HSB Professional School is to include foundation courses as well as specialised, topical questions at the interface of law and technology, such as "cybersecurity and law" and "technology and information regulation".
Defibrillator at the Faculty of Law
A defibriallator is now available in the GW1 building. It has been installed in the corridor of block B level 0 directly in front of the place where the security guard is located / in front of the lockers on the wall.
Seminar on Wangerooge
From 9 July to 12 July, the Research Centre for European Environmental Law together with the international law firm McDermott Will & Emery organised a seminar in the subject area "Environmental law and public economic law" on the island of Wangerooge. Within the framework of the subject "Prevention by administrative law: climate protection", current issues of climate protection law were discussed, e.g. the spectacular climate decision of the Federal Constitutional Court of March 2021. The participants inspected the coast protection measures on the island and made use of the opportunity to take long beach walks, including a bath in the North Sea.

You can reach the GW1 building where the Faculty of Law is located from the airport and Bremen station by tram (line 6, stop Universität Süd). Campus map
